Stainless / Mild Steel Fabricators

We're looking for full-time, experienced Stainless and Mild Steel Fabricators in Christchurch with a solid grounding in the food industry's manufacturing protocols.

Preferred Skills / Attributes

Trade qualification or substantial experience in the field
Proficiency in fabricating complete products using various materials such as mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to exacting standards
Expertise in diverse welding techniques, including MIG & TIG
Competency with general hand tools like drills and disc grinders
Self-driven, dependable, committed, punctual, with a can-do mindset
Ability to follow instructions, perform under deadlines, and communicate effectively

Proficient in reading and executing plans from drawings

Initiative to take charge of projects, including
troubleshooting and solution-finding
Health & Safety awareness with a commitment to maintaining a tidy and secure workspace
Possession of a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a drug test, and eligibility to work in NZ
Willingness to travel as job demands across New Zealand

Work Details

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed
